NASCAR driver returns lost wallet at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

Investigative work allowed the NASCAR group to return the lost wallet

On Sunday, Daytona International Speedway hosted the opening day of stock car racing at the 2.5-mile oval. It was the first of a week long show in Florida.

After the field was done crashing in The Clash at Daytona, there’s a break. Cars do not return to the track until Thursday.

Three off days, it’s not quite enough time to go home. But, it does create some off time.

Several drivers elected to tour Florida. Close to Daytona Beach sits Orlando, the home of Mickey Mouse.

Driver Clint Bowyer, Kyle Larson and Brad Keselowski all went on a tour of Magic Kingdom and brought their families along with them.

The group found a lost wallet. They were able to return the wallet after sending an Instagram message one of the names inside the wallet.

Ironically, the lost wallet belonged to the man behind Doctor Disney. Where a lifetime of appreciation and knowledge of all things Disney are shared with 207k facebook fans.

“Little story from today – So, my wife and I were just enjoying a day in Magic Kingdom when I realize my wallet is missing. I knew it had to be in the park as we had just entered 15 minutes earlier and used our APs,” Danny Cox shared the story.

“So, I sprint up, from Tomorrowland, to the bench on Main Street where we were sitting and no luck. I get in line at City Hall to check lost and found when Stacey calls me and says, “Someone just messages me on Instagram and she said she found your wallet. They’re standing outside of Cosmic Ray’s.”

“I sprint back, finally find them, and well…it’s NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer and Katelyn Larson, wife of NASCAR driver Kyle Larson. Have to say that thank goodness for honest, kind people and well…it wasn’t a bad way to meet some NASCAR icons.”
