Over the weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Fontana, California.

Auto Club Speedway is a 2-mile high-speed oval. It’s a track that highlights the importance of aerodynamics.

Multiple teams struggled with inspection throughout the weekend. Martin Truex Jr suffered the worst of that as he wasn’t allowed to qualify.

Now, NASCAR has released to official penalty report for Auto Club Speedway.

NASCAR Cup Series

Driver: No. 8 Tyler Reddick

Infraction Date: March 1, 2020 (Post-Race)

Infraction Level: Safety

Infraction: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief ( Randall Burnett ) has been fined $10,000.

Driver: No. 41 Cole Custer

Infraction Date: March 1, 2020 (Post-Race)

Infraction Level: Safety

Infraction: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief ( Mike Shiplett ) has been fined $10,000.

Driver: No. 37 Ryan Preece

Infraction Date: March 1, 2020 (Pre-Race)

Infraction Level: L1

Infraction: Section 20.20 Assembled Vehicle Overall Rules; NOTE: Parts, systems, devices, omissions or component failures cannot affect what what should otherwise be the normal airflow over the body of the vehicle.

Penalty: Team assessed with the loss of 10 NASCAR Cup Series driver and owner points.

Driver: No. 47 Ricky Stenhouse Jr

Infraction Date: March 1, 2020 (Pre-Race)

Infraction Level: L1
