Race Report

Green flag, Chastain leads on the outside lane off turn two.

Lap 3, two cars spin as they run three wide. 15+ cars are collected. Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr are among those collected.

Green, Chastain leads Majeski by a car length into turn one.

Lap 9, Majeski has a run off turn four. He dives to the inside of Chastain and clear. Chastain tries to cross under him but can’t fight back. Ty Majeski leads.

Lap 24, Dugger and Truex tangle as they work by the lap car of Chad Knaus. Knaus clogged up the outside lane to the surprise of the field behind him. Allgaier and Kyle Busch work through it. Busch weaved and barely made it through.

Green, Majeski leads. Erickson and Majors run side by side for 2nd. Erickson takes that spot.

Lap 40, Parker Kligerman started this race in 35th. He’s glued to the bottom lane and up to 9th.

Lap 51, Justin Allgaier is in the wall! He launched over the turtles in turn two. With the front wheels sticking into the air, he went straight and slammed the outside wall off turn two. Allgaier has blown an engine.

Lap 60, 5th through 15th run bumper to bumper in a train around the bottom. Exciting stuff.

Halfway

Lap 75, Ty Majeski leads TJ Majors by 0.8 seconds at the front of the field.

Kyle Busch runs 17th. He’s only one lap down but his car is close to spotless. He just needs a caution. 30 cars remain on the track.

Lap 78, Regan Smith gets into the rear bumper of Dale Earnhardt Jr into turn one! Smith turns him into the outside wall. Earnhardt bounces off the outside wall and back across the track into Smith. They both spin but no caution.

40 laps to go, Majeski leads Majors by 1.2 seconds. He’s opened the gap at the front. Majeski has caught the top 10 and there’s a long train of cars just ahead of his nose as they all battle for positions.

25 to go

23 to go, Kevin Iannarelli was working the outside lane. Dale Earnhardt Jr gassed the center and tried to fill a whole on the inside lane. The hole closed and Iannarelli went around, no caution.

15 to go, Majeski leads Majors by 0.8 seconds. The gap has closed slightly.

5 to go, 6th-9th run nose to tail. Tyler Overstreet is all over the back bumper of Ben Rhodes for 6th. Overtstrret keeps looking under him but can’t complete the pass.

3 to go

3 to go, Overstreet looks inside of Rhodes. They make contact and Rhodes is around! As Rhodes pulls away, he cuts across the track and Dale Earnhardt Jr t-bones him in the passenger side door.

The yellow flag is out!!!! It’s going to be a shootout on old worn out tires for the race win.

Green, Majeski leads. Erickson pulls to his bumper into turn one! Majeski runs wide off turn two! Erickson pulls even into turn three.

2 to go, Majors tucks in behind Erickson on the inside. Majors gives Erickson a bump. Majors spins on his own off turn four!

Final lap, Majeski lifts off turn four and tucks in behind Erickson on the bottom into turn one. Majeski puts the bumper to him!
