This weekend, Richmond Raceway will host two races. The Toyota Owners 150 highlights the weekend on Sunday at the virtual .75-mile oval.

Saturday’s race will feature all NASCAR drivers outside of the NASCAR Cup Series. Sunday’s race will feature NASCAR Cup Series drivers only.

Two weeks ago, the Sunday portion of the two-day show filled up with entries. This week, retired drivers like Dale Earnhardt and Bobby Labonte have elected not to race. They were planning to leave room for current NCS drivers.

Dale Earnhardt Jr: “I was invited. I decided to skip this weekend so that a current full time cup driver could race instead. I was hoping my decision might eventually convince Fox/iRacing to let everyone race. Bristol format should be used this Sunday at Richmond IMO. 2 Heats. Main. Everyone races.”

Currently, the field is only 26 drivers. No heats are in the plan for this weekend as of now.

Daniel Suarez: Suarez was disqualified from the previous two iRacing NASCAR events. He’s elected not to run this one.

Kyle Larson: Last week, Larson dropped the n-word while attempting to reach his spotter on a private audio channel. Instead, it was aired on the public channel.

The 27-year-old has been suspended by iRacing, NASCAR and his team on Monday. By Tuesday, he was fired from his real-life gig with Chip Ganassi Racing.

Larson is not in the race this weekend as a result.
