Designed by DKY Architects’ David Streshinsky, this modern dwelling mixes the elements of steel, clay, fire, and water,” a website for the home itself states.

The home rests on a hillside in Orange County, California. It has all the views, city, canyon and ocean. Resting just 40 miles from Los Angeles

The Modern California house was built in 2011 for Carlito Jocson. The mansion is 8,320 square feet of open space living.

The original owner was a famed restaurant owner. So, this piece of California real estate is fixed with a full indoor and outdoor kitchen.

It’s not a mansion without an infinity pool. The pool runs along the back of the house and the edges dip right off into the views of the city below.

Of course, it comes with a four car garage at 1,029 sq feet to itself. That’s in addition to the large parking areas around the estate.

Interior

Rahal lives life on the edge of control at 200 mph on weekends. He then returns to California, a resort style home with amenities from top to bottom.

Inside, minimal is the theme. The walls meet the hard floors with a lack of trim, a flush clean look. That theme is extended throughout the home.

The kitchen and living room are connected in the open floor plan. Art pieces and unique lighting fills the background.

Floor to ceiling windows surround the back of the home to offer views of the city from multiple rooms. The dining room windows swing open to connect the outside to the inside and the same for the master bedroom.

The master bathroom has a wall of windows. For privacy, the windows are in view of exterior home garden, fenced in from the public.

A pool table room feature cove lighting around the table. It also features a walk-in wine cooler and theater room.

The home is tech-savvy. iPads control the system.
