It’s not bad at all, you should watch it. Grabbing gears in a dirt modified off turn four will be brutal for any race fan to watch. But, other than those specifics, you’ll like it. They nail the family aspects of the sport.

Lucas Oil Speedway is a highlight track in 1:44 min showing. The Wheatland, Missouri dirt track is owned by Forrest Lucas, the same man who owns Forrest Films.

Dirt late model stars Earl Pearson Jr and Bobby Pierce were involved in the movie. Cars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series field are shown in the film including Scott Bloomquist.

Bobby Pierce discusses the Lady Driver film

“I’m in it, my car’s in it. Well, my car is in it, somewhat. They used another car that looked like mine for some parts of the movie,” Bobby Pierce said of the film via a social media post.

“They did a great job. Ali Afshar and Christina Moore, the producers, I got to meet them when I was out there October 2017. Like, they asked me some things, advice on how to make it feel more like a dirt track movie.”

“Even to interact with the movie stars. It was really cool to see how they filmed everything. Once in a lifetime experience for sure. I met most of the actors and actresses.”

“I hung out with them, it was cool. They were just as excited to learn about my world as I was excited to learn about their world.”

“Now, I can say that I am an actor. Because, I have a one-liner in the movie. Don’t make fun of it when you see it. I did my best. They didn’t really tell me much about it. They just said, ‘act natural.’ So, I did what I did.”

“It’s pretty cool to be in a movie. I never knew I’d be on NETFLIX in my life. I would have never imagined it. But, here we are.”

“It’s great for dirt track racing in general. Everybody has NETFLIX, so go support it. Go watch it,” Pierce concluded.
