This is the final race of the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Speedway. The NASCAR Cup Series will return to the real world at Darlington Raceway on May 17th.

North Wilkesboro Speedway is set to make it’s digital debut! The track is an abandoned 0.625-mile oval.

The track hasn’t seen a NASCAR event since 1996. Jeff Gordon drove to victory lane in the final NASCAR Cup Series race at the North Carolina track.

It’s a fan favorite among NASCAR fans but it’s unlikely the track will ever see another race. Late last year, Dale Earnhardt Jr and the iRacing staff cleaned up the facility and scanned it, preserving it in the digital world, forever.

The new track has not yet been released on iRacing. But, it will makes it’s debut in the online racing game via network television.

Worth noting, William Byron has won three of these events. However, he will not be in the show this weekend as he readies for the real return to NASCAR.

Additionally, Matt DiBenedetto will not pilot his digital machine. Instead, Jon Wood of Wood Brothers Racing will pilot the No. 21.

On the other side of this coin, Martin Truex Jr is set to make his iRacing debut.
