Chrisian Eckes and Tyler Ankrum set the front row for today’s truck race. Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott are in the field again this week.

Atlanta Trucks
Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 30 (1-30 / 130)

Green flag, Eckes is clear by a mile into turn one as the entire outside lane struggles to get rolling. Kyle Busch is three wide in a hurry and coming to the front.

Lap 2, the caution is out as Bryan Dauzat is around.

Green, Eckes leads on the bottom. Kyle Busch quickly climbs to 2nd, he’s been on the outside lane the whole time.

Lap 12, Kyle Busch runs just a few feet off the wall and Eckes is glued to the bottom. Busch comes off the corner with momentum and cruises to the lead.

Lap 13, Dauzat is around on his own once again and the caution is back out.

Green, Kyle Busch restarts from the outside lane and he falls outside the top 5 into turn one. He’s right back at them and three wide as Eckes leads.

Lap 22, Kyle Busch cruises back to the race lead. His competition is on the way as Chase Elliott cracks the top 5.

Kyle Busch takes the win in stage one at Atlanta! Just as Chase Elliott takes over 2nd. Stage two is set to be exiting!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 30 (31-60 / 130)

The field heads to the pit lane. Chase Elliott wins the race to the pit exit! Matt Crafton runs into the back of John Hunter Nemechek as they stacked up on pit road. Heavy damage for Crafton.

Green flag on stage two, Chase Elliott leads on the outside lane as Zane Smith stacks up the inside lane on old tires. Kyle Busch is nearly turned as he moves around Smith.

11 to go in stage two, Kyle Busch runs right against the wall in turn one, Elliott runs the bottom. Busch has the momentum off the corner and he crosses under Elliott to take the lead into turn three.

Chase Elliott fights back and reclaims the lead! Austin Wayne Self is around and the caution is out.

Chase Elliott heads to the pit lane, Kyle Busch stays out. Elliott restarts 9th.

Green, Kyle Busch leads. They’re running four wide for 2nd, Gilliland takes that spot.

Busch cruises to the win in stage two!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 70 (61-130 / 130)

Kyle Busch leads the leaders to the pit lane. Grant Enfinger leads them to the restart. Busch will restart 18th.

Green, Enfinger gets the jump. Ross Chastain is putting up a fight from row two. Eckes jumps into the fight and they run three wide for the lead back in turn one, Eckes leads on the bottom.

Ross Chastain takes it away in a hurry, Chastain leads.

Lap 75, Kyle Busch has climbed to 2nd. Chastain leads by 1 second.

47 to go, Kyle Busch has climbed to the bumper of Chastain for the race lead. Busch drives it to the bottom in turn three and Chastain pinches him down. Busch clears him on the bottom and returns to the lead with 5 laps fresher tires.

Pit stops

36 to go, Ross Chastain heads to the pit lane for four fresh tires with a green flag stop. Eckes follows the next lap. 15 trucks come of the lap that follows.

33 to go, Kyle Busch pits from the race lead. Chase Elliott attempts to hit the pit lane as well but Elliott misses the pit entrance! 32 to go, Elliott makes it back to the pits with a lot of time lost.

30 to go, Jordan Anderson is slow around the top. Kyle Busch comes along with nowhere to go. Busch brushes the wall as he works around Anderson’s slow truck.

Pit Penalty: Kyle Busch has been caught speeding on the pit lane!

Pit Penalty (Again): Kyle Busch already served his pass-through penalty. But, he has just been caught again and will have to return for a third time.

29 to go, Austin Hill leads.

20 to go, Hill leads Chastain by 3 seconds.

5 to go, Hill is opening the gap and driving away.

3 to go, Chase Elliott is around off turn two and the caution is out!

Overtime

The field hits the pit lane. Austin Hill will restart from the lead with four fresh tires. Todd Gilliland sets the outside lane.

Green, Hill throws a block on Eckes as Gilliland spins the tires on the outside.

Grant Enfinger has a run on Hill into turn three. They run even off turn four!

White flag, they remain even into turn one. Enfinger has the momentum off the corner and Enfinger powers to the lead into turn three.
