Today, the NTT Indycar Series gets their 2020 season underway. First, a round of practice at the Texas Motor Speedway oval.

This is a highly condensed opening day for the open wheel racing division. They’re set to practice, qualify and race all in the same day.
Rinus VeeKay clipped the apron in turn four and spun. Heavy impact sent him off the track on the hook. The drivers was alright.
Scott Dixon wins practice. The series will return to the track is just a few hours for qualifying.
