Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 35 (1-35 / 150)

Green flag, Moffitt leads on the outside in turn one. Sheldon Creed follows him through and takes 2nd through the PJ1.

Lap 1, Spencer Boyd is smoking and the caution is out.

Green, Creed noses ahead on the bottom but he can’t fight the outside momentum. Creed drops to 4th as the outside lane drives by off turn two. Moffitt holds the lead.

Lap 14, Codie Rohrbaugh turns left to avoid Ryan Truex into turn one. As it unsettles the car, he loses control. Rohrbaugh collects the outside wall into turn one and the caution is back out.

Green, Creed pushes Smith into turn one on the bottom. Moffitt holds the lead on the outside once again.

Lap 22, Timothy Viens is around and the caution is back out.

Green, Moffitt and Smith run even into turn one. They remain even off turn two. Smith drives it deep to the bottom in turn three, he slides him and Zane Smith leads off turn four!

3 to go, Moffitt has a run off turn two. He looks to the inside in turn three but Smith hangs onto his right rear. They run side by side. Smith finally holds him off.

Zane Smith wins stage 1 in the truck race at Kentucky!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 35 (36-70 / 150)

The field hits the pit lane. Smith is out first with just two tires, Sauter pulls that strategy as well. Kligerman, Crafton and others pitted earlier in stage one.

Green flag on stage two, Kligerman and Crafton run side by side into turn one. Crafton runs him wide in turn one but Kligerman drives by on the outside anyway. Rhodes takes over 2nd as they go by on both sides of Crafton.

Lap 43, Bryant Barnhill has a flat and he goes around to bring out the caution.

Green, Ben Rhodes noses ahead on the inside into turn one, he clears him!

Jennifer Jo Cobb and Korbin Forrister tangle behind them and the caution is back out.

Green, Rhodes and Creed run even into turn one. They remain even into turn three. Creed drives it deep to the bottom in turn three. With 14 laps fresher tires, Creed takes over the lead.

5 to go in stage two, Creed leads Rhodes by 0.5 seconds. Weather is in the area! This could be the race for the win.

Sheldon Creed takes the win in stage two at Kentucky Speedway!
