NASCAR tv viewership for New Hampshire Motor Speedway; Compared to other sports as MLB, NBA and NHL returned last week
On Sunday, New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosted the NASCAR Cup Series. It was the only race at the track for the weekend.
Fans were in the stands and they saw a thriller. Drivers were fighting for stage wins as weather was in the area. In the final stage, Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin went bumper to bumper for the race win, trading sliders.
Keselowski picked up the win, his third of the season.
2.21 million fans tuned in to watch Sunday’s race on NBCSN.
In 2019, the race drew a 1.7 rating and averaged 2.79 million viewers on NBCSN. That was up 12% in viewership from the 2018 event.

NBA: Thursday’s Clippers vs Lakers NBA regular season game saw 3.35 million average viewers on TNT.
NHL: Saturday’s Canadiens vs Penguins NHL Stanley Cup Game 1 qualifier brought 1.54 million average viewers on NBC.
