Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 40 (1-40 / 156)
Green flag, Logano noses ahead of Hamlin on the outside lane with a huge push from Aric Almirola.
Lap 2, Hamlin dives to the inside of Logano for the lead. He bobbles, chases it up the hill and comes under fire from Almirola.
Lap 15, Hamlin has closed to the bumper of Logano for the lead. Logano runs wide in turn one and Hamlin has a run down the back.
Hamlin dives to the bottom in turn three. They run side by side off turn four. Hamlin gets loose on the bottom in turn one and Lagano holds him off.
Lap 16, the competition caution is out.
Green, Hamlin is clear on the bottom into turn one with Reddick locked on his rear bumper.
Lap 23, Harvick has a run on Hamlin into turn one. He dives to the inside and clears him with ease.
Lap 32, Logano is fading fast. He can’t get out of the way as he chases the car across the track. Kyle Busch runs up on him with nowhere to go and gives him a light tap before driving by.
Kevin Harvick wins stage one at Michigan International Speedway!

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 45 (41-85 / 156)
The leaders head for the pit lane. Harvick is first in but Hamlin wins the race to the pit exit.
Green flag on stage two, Hamlin gets the jump on Keselowski. Harvick moves to 2nd.
Lap 50, Blaney is on the move. He drives right by Harvick for 2nd. Now, he’s on the outside right rear of Hamlin in turn one as Hamlin gave him the lane to block the inside. Blaney drives to the race lead.
Lap 60, Harvick and Erik Jones fight for 2nd. Harvick locks onto his rear bumper down the front stretch and pushes him all the way into the corner. Jones gathers it up as Harvick drives by.
Lap 65, Harvick has climbed to the bumper of Blaney for the lead. He’s on a search for momentum and clean air as Blamey runs the middle.
Lap 77, Blamey works lap traffic. Harvick heads for lane three into turn one as Blamey runs the bottom.
Harvick exits turn two with momentum and he works into of Blaney down the back. Blaney is boxed in behind a lap car into turn three and Harvick retakes the lead.

Stage 3 – Report
Laps: (86-156 / 156)
The field heads for the pit lane. Harvick is first in and first off.
Green flag on stage three, Hamlin gets a huge shove from Erik Jones on the inside. Hamlin leads.
Jones looks inside of Hamlin into turn three just as Harvick works lane three. Three wide for the lead and Harvick leads them back to the line.
Lap 94, John Hunter Nemechek is around and the caution is out. Buescher got into his left rear and turned him around.
Green, Harvick leads on the outside with a push from Keselowski. They run three wide behind them.
51 to go, Nemechek is around with a flat tire and the caution is back out.
Pit stops
The field heads for the pit lane. Kyle Busch is off 1st with fuel only.
Green, Jones gives a huge shove to Kyle Busch.
45 to go, Harvick dives to the inside of Busch as they return to turn one. Harvick leads off turn two.
25 to go
25 to go, the caution is out as John Hunter Nemechek is around.
Green, Keselowski gives a huge push to Chase Elliott on the inside lane. Kyle Busch makes it three wide for the lead. Elliott clears them all off turn two!
14 to go, the caution is out!
Elliott and Busch run even into turn turn one. Busch drives it deep to the bottom and clears Elliott for the lead as Harvick works to the outside of Elliott.
Harvick has a run on Kyle Busch into turn three. Harvick pulls right to his bumper, light contact and Kyle Busch is chasing it up the hill. The No. 4 of Harvick to the race lead!
Cole Custer is in the wall and the caution is out. They’ve put out the red to clean up the track.
Green, Harvick leads as Bubba Wallace takes Hamlin and Elliott three wide for 2nd. Austin Dillon is around off turn four, Newman is collected and the caution is back out.
Green, Harvick and Keselowski trade side drafts into turn one and off turn two. Elliott shoves Harvck into turn three and Harvick takes the lead as they come to the white flag.
