Larson quickest so far
Larson has gone on a dirt track racing tear since April. He’s won just about everything. He has a worst finish of 6th, in over 30 races.
He’s the hottest thing in dirt track racing. It doesn’t matter what car either.
As to be expected, Larson tops the times sheets. Hot laps are in the books. In his first late model appearance, Larson is quickest overall.
Larson rolled to the track for hot laps. In group five, he turned a 18.554. That’s the quickest time, by a whole lot.
Jonathan Davenport was 2nd quickest. In group four, he turned a 18.775.
So far, Larson is two tenths faster than the entire field of national dirt late model stars.
Just as the field was taking to the track to begin group A qualifying, the weather rolled into the area. The event is currently in a rain delay and expected to resume shortly.
