Bristol Race
Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 125 (1-125 / 500)

Green flag, Keselowski gets the jump on the outside lane. Harvick follows him through to take 2nd from Logano.

Lap 18, Keselowski gets loose off turn two. Harvick crosses under him and drives it deep to the bottom in turn three, Harvick leads.

Lap 29, Ricky Stenhouse Jr has slammed the inside wall and the caution is out. Jimmie Johnson went for the middle lane when Stenhouse Jr expected him to drift out toward the wall. They made contact in the middle lane.

The field heads to the pit lane. Matt DiBenedetto wins the race off the pit lane with a two tire call.

Green, DiBenedetto gets the jump. Keselowski is all over him for the lead. Keselowski works to his outside in turn three, Keselowski returns to the lead.

Lap 80

Lap 80, Kyle Busch has cracked the top 10 after starting the race from the rear due to multiple inspection failures. Busch is one of the first cars to work the outside lane.

Lap 100, Kyle Busch is up to 4th. He driving buy them on the top and the bottom.

20 to go in stage one, Keselowski fights to put Ryan Newman a lap down. Chase Elliott has a run in the process. Elliott drives right by.

13 to go, Kyle Busch drives by Brad Keselowski to take 2nd. Elliott leads by 1.5 seconds.

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 125 (126-250 / 500)

The field heads to the pit lane. Elliott leads them to the pit entry and Kyle Busch wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage two, Kyle Busch is clear before turn one. Elliott stumbles on the start and Alex Bowman takes over 2nd.

Lap 188, Matt DiBenedetto pits under green with a tire issue. He’s now three laps down.

Lap 190, Kyle Busch leads Chase Elliott by just under a second.

Lap 213, Martin Truex Jr hits the pit lane under green with a tire issue.

Denny Hamlin gets into the back of Martin Truex Jr. Heavy nose damage for Hamlin but he’s still on the throttle.

Lap 235, heavy nose damage for William Byron as Joey Gase slows down the straight-away. Byron gets into the back of Christopher Bell in the process. Byron heads to the garage.

Green, Kyle Busch is clear by three car lengths into turn one. Harvick takes over 2nd.

1 to go in stage two, Ryan Newman spins and the caution is out.

Green flag on stage three, Kyle Busch leads with Kevin Harvick right on his bumper.

Lap 281, Kyle Busch runs the bottom. Kevin Harvick has a run, he drives it deep on the outside and gets to his right rear. Kevin Harvick to the lead!

Lap 297, Keselowski has lost power steering. He goes to the garage.

Lap 300, Kyle Busch is stalking Kevin Harvick as they race for the lead through lap traffic.

Lap 302, Alex Bowman is on the pit road under green with a tire issue. Correction, it was not a tire issue, the crew is unsure but they may have another issue.

Lap 326, Kurt Busch heads to the pit lane under green with a tire issue.

150 laps to go

150 to go, Harvick leads Busch by 1.5 seconds.

94 to go, Austin Dillon clips James Davison and the caution is out.

Green, Harvick leads into turn one. Kyle Busch swings around Bowyer to take 2nd.

62 to go, Kyle Busch is all over Harvick for the lead. Harvick moves to the top to take the highside away.

39 to go, Kyle Busch boxes Harvick in behind Reed Sorenson. Kyle Busch to the lead!

32 to go, Harvick boxes Kyle Busch in behind the lap car of Logano. Harvick returns to the lead!

10 to go, Harvick remains on the bumper of Harvick for the lead.

Final lap, Harvick gets held up by lap traffic. Kyel Busch drives it deep into turn three but he doesn’t put the bumper to him. Kyle Busch gets loose off turn four.
