NASCAR has disqualified the JR Motorsports car driven by Michael Annett
On Saturday afternoon, the NASCAR Xfinity Series took the checkered flag at Talladega Superspeedway. The race was second of three races in the Round of 12 of the Xfinity playoffs.
Playoff contender Michael Annett finished 2nd in today’s event. However, he won’t be credited with that position.
No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevy failed to meet the minimum heights requirement in NASCAR inspection after Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300.
Per the rule book, Annett has been disqualified. He will be officially credited with a last place finish in the event.
Justin Haley drove to the race win. His car did pass post-race inspection and he’s been officially declared the race winner.
