CJ Leary has been suspended following the race win at Gas City Speedway in Indiana
On September 25, CJ Leary drove to victory lane at I-69 Speedway in Gas city, Indiana. The win came in the USAC National Sprint Car division.
Leary is the 2019 USAC National Sprint Car Series champion.
On Saturday, USAC Racing announced a steep penalty for the driver. He’s been found in violation of section 309 in the USAC Rule Book. That section refers to tire doping chamicals.
USAC Rule Book: “309 (Tires) C. Any solvents or chemicals applied to the tire that alter the chemical makeup of the compound or have the effect of altering tire durometer or construction is prohibited. A tire can be confiscated at any time. Penalties from tire found to deviate from the original factory benchmark specifications are as follows:
