On Sunday, NASCAR unloaded in Kansas City, KS. The Round of 8 opener was hosted on the 1.5-mile of Kansas Speedway.

Cold weather added grip to the track. With the low downforce package also in play, it was hard for anyone to get away from the field. Alex
6 of the 8 drivers remaining in the NASCAR Playoffs led laps on Sunday. Alex Bowman and Martin Truex Jr were the only two drivers who didn’t led laps on Sunday.
Joey Logano comes out as the winner. With the win in this round, he automatically advances into the final round. Logano is the first and only driver to clinch a spot in the Championship finale at Phoenix Raceway.
Kurt Busch was toward the front, all day. In stage three, an engine expired when he was running in the top 10 just laps before. Busch exits Kansas in a must win situation.
Only two races remain before the championship finale. Texas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway are the finale chances for the remaining 7 drivers to grab one of the three available spots in the championship race.
