Watch the Ben Rhodes vs Christian Eckes video below.

With three laps to go, Ben Rhodes and Christian Eckes made contact off turn four. It brought out the final caution in the event.

Rhodes thought he was run wide off the corner. However, video shows there was at least a foot between the two trucks.

As they exited turn four, Rhodes turned left and hooked Eckes into the outside wall. It was a heavy impact through the tri-oval.

It clearly appeared to be retaliation. However, Rhodes later stated he lost control of his car.

After the race, Rhodes also stated KBM truck lack respect on the track.

NASCAR has stated that the on-track incident between Rhodes and Eckes has been reviewed. NASCAR stated they intend to take no action in regards to penalties for the on-track contact.

On the final lap at Texas, Rhodes was involved in another incident with Josh Bilicki.

After the race, Christian Eckes lingered by the hauler of Ben Rhodes. Rhodes eventually exited the hauler, a long conversation ensued. It was cut short with pushing and shoving.

Josh Bilicki on Ben Rhodes

Bilicki tweeted, “Hey Ben Rhodes, what the hell was that? We had a great run going for our small @RBR_Teams and was inside the top 15 with one to go until #99 just flat out dumped us. Just remember, you have WAY more to lose than we do at Martinsville.”

“It’s two times the guy runs me out of the groove,” Rhodes said of the incident with Eckes. “I almost knocked down the Turn 4 wall, completely out of the gas, hand over fist. I’m trying to catch it, I end up hitting him and then gets wrecked.

“These guys in the KBM trucks just run over everybody and race with no respect.”

Rhodes added, “I’ll tell them they can have their own opinion, but I was in the truck. I know what happened. … It seems to be a lack of talent over there. I think that’s evident though when Kyle (Busch) hops in the truck and he goes and wins.”

Rhodes also responded to comments from Josh Bilicki, “If you are going to be mad at anybody, be mad at the guy who admitted to wrecking me on purpose while I was underneath you. He admitted and said it was payback for his teammate. Watch a replay if they have one. I told your crew the same thing and they heard him say it.”
