Charlotte Dirt Track Results: November 6, 2020 (World of Outlaws Sprint Cars)

Trouble for Jason Sides before the green. He went into turn three and the car wouldn’t turn. He’s off on the hook before the start.

30 laps of dirt sprint car racing is up next…

Green flag, big crash for Sammy Swindell at the launch. He’s upside down before he reached the start finish line. The red flag is out but he claims from the car with a cheer from the fans.

Green, Macedo and Gravel run side by side in turn one. They remain side by side a whole lap. Back in turn three, they fight for space and Gravel leads off turn four.

Lap 3, smoke is exiting the exhaust pipes on Macedo’s machine but he’s still rolling.   

Lap 5, Shane Stewart spins off turn four and the caution is out.

Green, Gravel leads Macedo. The top three all run the cushion in turn one.

Kyle Larson started 14th. He’s running 7th and climbing through the field.

Lap 8, Brent Marks is slow off turn four, caution.

Green, Gravel leads.

Lap 11, Wayne Johnson spins off turn four, caution.

Green, Gravel leads Macedo.

Lap 19, the leaders catch lap traffic. The top three run a car length apart.

Lap 20, Haudenschild slides Macedo for 2nd. Macedo crosses back under him off turn two.

Haudenschild goes after 2nd once again, clear.

As they battled for 2nd, Gravel has gotten away. He leads by 20 car lengths.

David Gravel drives away and takes the win on The Dirt Track at Charlotte!
