F1 driver Nikita Mazepin touches woman’s chest in car; Haas team ‘abhorrent’ (Video)

Haas F1 and Nikita Mazepin have released a statement
Nikita Mazepin posted a video to social media that has caused a stir. Haas F1 has stated that do not condone the behavior following the “abhorrent” video posting.
The video has since been deleted from his account but can be seen below.
Mazepin will drive for Haas F1 in 2021. The 21-year-old driver is from Russia.
In the video, Mazepin appeared to touch a woman’s chest in the backseat of a car. The woman showed him the middle finger after the action, rejecting the touch, the filming or both.
Haas F1 statement
“Haas F1 Team does not condone the behavior of Nikita Mazepin in the video recently posted on his social media. Additionally, the very fact that the video was posted on social media is also abhorrent to Haas F1 Team.”
“The matter is being dealt with internally and no further comment shall be made at this time.”
Nikita Mazepin statement
“I would like to apologize for my recent actions both in terms of my own inappropriate behavior and the fact that it was posted onto social media,” Mazepin opened.
“I am sorry for the offense I have rightly caused and to the embarrassment I have brought to Haas F1 Team.”
Mazepin concluded, “I have to hold myself to a higher standard as a formula 1 driver and I acknowledge I have let myself and many people down. I promise I will learn from this.”
Nikita Mazepin was only announced as the Haas F1 driver, last week. His father is billionaire Dmitry Mazepin who owns a mineral fertilizer company. Mazepin will race with teammate Mick Schumacher.
