Tonight, it’s night two of six for the famed Chili Bowl Nationals. It’s another qualifier event featuring a main event to cap the night.

The Chili Bowl Nationals features six straight nights of racing with the first five nights seeing a different field of drivers. Points are totaled each night to set drivers in their respective alphabet feature in Saturday’s finale.

Track officials have done a bit of work to the track ahead of this main event. Once again, drivers are looking at a different race track for the feature race. It’s a late one as we’re now into an early Wednesday morning conclusion.

Green flag, Meseraull leads on the inside lane through turn one. Larson quickly gets to the bottom.

6 cars tangle and the caution is out.

Green, Meseraull leads on the inside. Larson quickly drops to the bottom once again and holds 2nd.

Lap 3, Larson kicks it back to the top. He’s closing off the corner. Meseraull takes the line away and Larson gives the bottom a try.

Lap 5, Larson slides Meseraull for the lead! Meseraull crosses under him and retakes the spot.

Jonathan Beason jumps the cushion and climbs the wall behind them to bring out the caution. Beason was running 3rd.

Green, 3rd place runner Tanner Carrick clips the cone and he’ll be sent to the tail.

Green, Meseraull leads on the bottom. Meseraull moves to the top. Larson slides him for the lead, Meseraull slides him back. Golobic joins the battle, three wide for the race lead!

Meseraull slides Larson and Larson is forced to check up. Golobic takes the lead on the bottom as they battle. Larson crosses under him to retake the spot.

Lap 9, Brody Fuson spins and the caution is out.

Green, Larson leads. He opens the gap as they battle for 2nd.

Lap 10, Aiden Purdue has tagged the wall and lost a tire, caution.

Green, Larson leads as it’s a single file restart.

Lap 11, Brody Fuson is upside down and the caution is back out. He’s dropped oil all over the track as the oil tank was removed in the crash. The oil sits on the cushion at corner entry. Officials are cleaning it a bit.

Green, Larson leads Golobic. Meseraull kicks it to the cushion behind him but he’s struggling to make it work.

Lap 15, Meseraull is closing on Golobic for 2nd, he’s still knocking the cushion and it’s coming to him. Larson leads by five car lengths.

Lap 18, Meseraull bails on the top, he’s fading.

Lap 20, Larson is closing on lap traffic. Golobic is within a car length.

Lap 22, two cars tangle as they fight for the bottom and the caution is out.

Green, Larson leads as the whole field runs the bottom. This one is over as it’s taken rubber.

1 to go, Larson works heavy lap traffic! Larson works inside of the car of Carrick. Carrick tries to come down but Golobic is already there! Golobic climbs over the lap car and the caution is out. The 2nd place car is now parked with a flat tire.

Green, Meseraull is all over the bumper of Larson for the win. He gives him a shot in the rear bumper as they’re glued to the bottom! Car around behind them, caution.

Green, Meseraull is all over the bumper of Larson. But, he can’t get to the bumper.
