23XI Racing releases Bubba Wallace’s 2021 paint scheme

There’s also a time lapse video of the NASCAR hauler wrap install

23XI Racing is the newest addition to the NASCAR Cup Series field. The team is owned by NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin and NBA champion Michael Jordan.

The team purchased a charter from Germain Racing and is set to run a full schedule in 2021. Bubba Wallace will pilot the new #23 car.

Last week, 23XI Racing was delivered their first race car from Joe Gibbs Racing. The Toyota team’s have an alliance as 23XI Racing is not building their own chassis.

The car was unloaded with a primer paint on the body.

Now, their new race car has been wrapped ahead of February’s race at Daytona International Speedway. It features a mostly red car with clean lines along the bottom of the car.

Denny Hamlin stated of the paint scheme, “Clean, not messy. Just like schemes used to be. Great job”

The first look at the No. 23 car features Door Dash as the primary sponsor.

McDonald’s, Mobile 1, Root Insurance and Dr Pepper all serve as associate sponsors on the first wrap. Each of those are expected to have primary sponsor events later in the year.

Previous cars were used for show purposes only.

Also last week, the team’s NASCAR hauler was delivered. The team has since release a time lapse video showing the wrap of the hauler. That video is shown below.
