Scott Bloomquist is on the rebound. He’s been battling back to the podium after injuring his foot in a motorcycle accident.
A few weeks ago, Bloomquist finished 2nd at Volusia Speedway. It was the first World of Outlaws podium since his win at Thunder Mountain Speedway in 2020.
Drydene serves as the primary sponsor for Scott Bloomquist Racing through most of the season. However, for two races later this year, Go Lithium will step up and take a more primary role on the car.
The all-black Go Lithium machine will make it’s debut at Cochran Motor Speedway. The Gobbler 100 was postponed and is now a two-day show with two full programs of racing.
The car will return with ‘Black Sunshine’ for the $100,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale at Portsmouth Raceway Park.
“Incredibly stoked about our sponsorship agreement with Scott Bloomquist in 2021,” stated Doug Johnson, despot at GO Lithium.
Johnson added, “This livery will be carried March 12th and 13th at the Gobbler (Cochran,GA) and October 15th and 16th during The Dirt Track World Championships (Portsmouth,OH). GO lithium…Helping Champions Make History!”
Go Lithium also recently welcomed Bobby Pierce to the team. Pierce made his Speedweeks debut at East Bay Raceway Park on Wednesday. On Thursday, the car was fitted with a Go Lithium logo.
