The NASCAR Cup Series event on Daytona Road Course brought more average viewers than the Daytona 500. However, the famed Daytona 500 saw a 6-hour delay due to rain which hindered viewership.

NASCAR was the most-watched sporting event of the weekend. The PGA Tour’s Genesis Open came in second with 3,617,000 viewers.
