Kevin Harvick, Ryan Preece to make NASCAR Truck Series starts in 2021

Harvick will also run NASCAR Xfinity Series races this year
KHI Management has announced multiple extracurricular events for a pair of NASCAR Cup Series drivers. Kevin Harvick and Ryan Preece are set to tackle the NASCAR Truck Series while Harvick also returns to the Xfinity Series.

Kevin Harvick is a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. However, he hasn’t run a race in the series since 2018. Harvick makes his return via a Ford Mustang out of the Stewart-Haas Racing stable.
Harvick is also set to make his return to the NASCAR Truck Series. He hasn;t run a race in the series since 2015. He’ll drive the No. 17 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford F-150 for David Gilliland Racing.
“I tell all of the drivers we represent at KHI Management that nothing beats seat time, and that goes for me as well,” Harvick said.
He added, “I can learn and have some fun, all at the same time. Road-course racing and dirt-track racing is a challenge, and I’m always up for a challenge.”
Ryan Preece to run NASCAR Truck Series
Additionally, Ryan Preece has announced two NASCAR Truck Series events later this year. He’ll also pilot the No. 17 in two races with primary sponsorship from Hunt Brothers Pizza and Morton Buildings.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to run Nashville and Pocono and partner with Hunt Brothers Pizza and Morton Buildings,” said Ryan Preece.
“DGR has done an awesome job building its program from the short tracks to the national level. I said it at the beginning of the season, I’m going to be in the seat as much as I can be.”
Preece explained, “Cup, Truck, Modifieds – whatever has four wheels and an engine that will give me the opportunity to chase after trophies.”
