NASCAR stars tackle the Bristol Dirt Track ahead of this weekend’s race
Tonight, the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series makes it’s 2021 debut. The stars of NASCAR race in a sim world from their homes. First up, it’s the Bristol Dirt Track.

This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series is set to run the first dirt race since 1970. The Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt Track has been born, in real life. Tonight, they’ll get some digital practice.
Dale Earnhardt Jr and Clint Bowyer are both stepping out of retirement for this event. Additionally, Timmy Hill is in the show after nearly dropping off the full-time NASCAR Cup Series schedule after missing an early invite.
Drivers are allowed two resets in the feature. This repairs all damage on the car in a few seconds but requires a pit stop.
7 drivers advanced from 3 heat races. That’s set a field of 21 cars for the main event.
James Davison and William Byron set the front row for the main event. 70 laps of digital track racing are up next…

Feature – Report
Green flag, Davison gets the jump on the inside. He’s clear before the flagstand and moves to the top in turn one. Byron holds 2nd.
Lap 9, Corey LaJoie and Alex Bowman tangle and spin. Joey Logano is collected and the caution is out.
Green, Davinson leads into turn one as Byron and Buescher run side by side for 2nd. Buescher is glued to the bottom and making it work as Davison and Byron are glued to the cushion. Buescher clears him on the bottom! Buescher on the lead.
Lap 21, Byron slides Buescher for 2nd but he gets too sideways and Davison runs into his door. Byron nearly spins but he saves it.
Lap 33, Byron clears Buescher and Byron takes over the lead.
Lap 40, the caution is out.
Green, Byron leads Buescher. 8 plus cars are crashing behind them, no caution.
17 to go, Reddick slides Buescher for 2nd.
15 to go, caution as Gase spins LaJoie.
Green, Byron leads Reddick. Christopher Bell moves to the bottom and takes 2nd away.
5 to go, Byron is glued to the cushion and he leads Bell by 1 second. Bell knocks the wall with the right rear as Reddick is all over his bumper. Reddick slides him back.
William Byron wins on the digital Dirt Track at Bristol Motor Speedway!
