Following the race weekend, seven penalties have been issued. In total, $35,000 in fines have been issued across both divisions.

Joe Graf Jr and Gray Gaulding crashed during the NASCAR Xfinity Series event. That led to an altercation after the race. During the week, Gaulding admitted to wrecking Joe Graf Jr on purpose. However, no penalties have been issued for on-track or off-track actions. That’s consistent with similar altercations in the recent past.

Additionally, Kurt Butcher has been indefinitely suspended by NASCAR, in violation of sections 12.1 and section 19 of the NASCAR rule book. Section 19 references NASCAR’s substance abuse policy.

Butcher was listed as the hauler driver for the No. 26 Sam Hunt Racing. The team competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
