Over the weekend, NASCAR visited Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. It featured the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Truck Series.

Kyle Busch drove to victory lane in both events. His No. 51 truck and No. 18 car passed post-race inspection and he was officially declared the race winner.

However, three other teams have been hit with post-race violations.

Penalty: Crew chief ( Luke Lambert ) has been fined $10,000.

Driver: Joey Logano #22

Infraction Date: May 2, 2021 (Post-Race)

Level: Safety

Infraction: Sections 10.9.10.4 – Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief ( Paul Wolfe ) has been fined $10,000.

Reinstatement

Jonathan Stewart has successfully completed NASCAR’s Road to Recovery Program. His NASCAR suspension has been lifted.
