Grant Enfinger signs with new NASCAR team for 2022

Enfinger will make the return to GMS Racing

Earlier this year, GMS Racing announced they would run full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for 2022. The team will still field entries in the NASCAR Truck Series.

In 2014, Enfinger gave GMS Racing their first ARCA Menards Series win. Later in 2016, Grant Enfinger picked up his first careet NCWTS win at Talladega Superspeedway. That came came will driving for GMS Racing in the No. 24.

Since 2017, Enfinger has been piloting ThorSport Racing machines. This year, he’s running half the schedule with ThorSport and the other half with CR7 Motorsports.

For 2022, things come full circle. Grant Enfinger will return to GMS Racing.

Enfinger added, “It’s so great to know where I’m going to be for the next couple of years, as I’m used to finding out around January each season,” continued Enfinger. “To have this deal signed this early ahead of the season is huge for me personally and career-wise, and I can’t wait to get started!”

Champion Power Equipment will serve as the primary sponsor of the machine. They’re deal extends through the 2023 season.

Trine added, “We look forward to continuing that growth with Grant and the GMS Racing team over the next two seasons.”

Enfinger won the regular-season championship in 2019.
