Alex Bowman: 2022 car

Take a look at the 2022 NASCAR race car with new door numbers

Alex Bowman is set to enter his 8th season in the NASCAR Cup Series. Ally is returning as a primary sponsor.

Take a look at Alex Bowman’s 2022 car below.

For 2022, the NASCAR Next Gen car makes it’s debut. The car is a spec chassis, the same from team to team.

Additionally, another major visual switch is the numbers on the door. Due to the short rear quarter panel on the new car, new space was needed for sponsor logos. NASCAR has moved the door numbers forward, increasing door space for sponsors.

Previously, the No. 48 featured a deep purple paint scheme. For 2022, the car has been reversed with a white body paint.

Hendrick Motorsports called it a, “champagne base and a twist on Ally’s vibrant colors.”

We’ve seen a few final renderings of 2022 cars. Alex Bowman is the latest to highlight what the new number placement will look like.

Bowman tweeted, “A white scheme… I dig.”

“Fresh scheme for 2022… Ally Racing did good with this one,” Bowman added.

Bowman grabbed 4 wins in 2021, bringing his career win to 6. The driver has led 1075 laps throughout his career.
