This race is also the first event with the NASCAR Next Gen car. The new car is a spec design, identical from team to team in a drastic effort to level the playing field.

(10 cars per race, top 3 in each LCQ advance into the main event)

The final spot on the grid will be awarded to the highest finisher in 2021 points who did not already advance into the show
