The track and rules package both contributed to a game changing track. A 1.5-mile baby-Daytona has been born as we saw pack racing all day in the NASCAR Cup Series event.

On Saturday, 841,000 tuned in to watch the NASCAR Truck Series race. Later that day, 1,123,000 watched the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on average.

On Sunday, 4,003,000 tuned in to watch the NASCAR Cup Series race. The event brought a household rating of 2.36.

For comparison, 1,353,000 tuned in to watch F1’s Bahain Grand Prix.

10 college basketball games out performed NASCAR on tv viewership. The Michigan State vs Duke basketball game was the most watched sporting event of the week with 11,223,000 viewers on average.
