Circuit of the Americas tv ratings after the NASCAR race weekend
NASCAR made their first stop on a road course for the 2022 season. The 3.4-mile Circuit of the Americas ended in drama as Ross Chastain grabbed his first career win.

Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race was seen to the tune of 1,075,000 viewers on average. The NASCAR Truck Series race earlier that same day brought 719,000 viewers on average.
Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race was watched by 3,731,000 on average with a rating of 2.18. That’s up significantly from last year’s race at COTA (2.3M).
For comparison, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was seen by 1,445,000 (In the US). The most-watched sporting event of the weekend was the St. Peter’s vs UNC basketball game, seen by 13.5 million.
