Over the weekend, the 0.75-mile of Richmond Raceway hosted the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. It was the first points paying short track race of the season.

Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race had 833,000 viewers. While 284,000 tuned in for NASCAR Cup Series qualifying on the same day.
Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race brought 3,958,000 viewers on average. It drew a 2.30 ratings.
The North Carolina vs Duke basketball game was the most watch sporting event of the weekend with 9,866,000 viewers. The NASCAR Cup Series race with the 5th most-watched sporting event of the weekend, all four events ahead were college basketball games.
