Race Report

Green flag, Herta is clear into turn one. Dixon has a look under braking but Herta throws a block. Sato is in the wall behind them after contact from Pagenaud.

Lap 3, caution.

Green, Herta leads Dixon.

Lap 18, Herta pits from the race lead. Dixon is on his bumper as Herta exits the pit lane. Dixon has slightly warmer tires after pitting a lap earlier. Dixon dives to the inside, clear.

Lap 33, Dixon cycles to the race lead. herta trails by 2.5 seconds.

Lap 45, Felix Rosenqvist dives inside of Alexander Rossi in turn five! They make contact, Rosenqvist gets loose and he turns the wheel hard left to correct it. Rosenqvist knocks Rossi off track and into the wall in the process, caution.

Dixon leads the most of the field to the pit lane under yellow. Rinus VeeKay and Conor Daly stay out.

Green, VeeKay leads Daly.

Lap 55, caution for debris. The track surface is breaking up in turn one.

Daly hits the pit lane with Grosjean and Johnson. VeeKay stays out.

Green, Dixon is all over the bumper of VeeKay.

Lap 59

Lap 59, Kirkwood dives inside of Johnson as they battle for 21st. Johnson didn’t know he was there, he turned in and they both make contact with the barrier. The caution is back out.

VeeKay heads for the pit lane. Dixon returns to the lead.

Green, Dixon leads Herta. Rahal dives inside of McLaughlin for 4th. McLaughlin is stuck on the outside lane and he drops to 9th as the field drives by on the clean line.

8 to go, Dixon leads Herta by 2 seconds.
