Other Moorish Nation members are known for claiming property that they don’t actually own under United States law
Ricky Stenhouse Jr is a driver in the NASCAR Cup Series. He currently has a house listed for sale.
Rowan County Sheriff Kevin Auten stated that a couple claiming to be members of the Moorish National broke into the home of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Columbia, SC residents Darius Trrone Hall, 29, and Nataijah Shaieena Fields, 37 are listed as the offenders. They were arrested on August 19th.
The NASCAR Cup Series had a practice and qualifying session in Watkins Glen, New York on August 20th. They raced the next day.

Hall is charged with breaking and entering. Additionally, he’s been charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, carrying a concealed gun as well as second-degree trespassing. Bond was set at $25,000.
Fields was also charged with breaking and entering. Other charges included two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and second-degree trespassing. Her bond was set at $10,000.
Hall and Fields were booked at the Rowen County Detention Center.
Moorish Nation
A small portion of the Moorish Nation are known for attempting to claim property that isn’t theirs. They believe their African American ancestors were original inhabitants. Thus they own all the property.
They have religious beliefs as a member of the Moorish Nation that they are entitled to the various homes. This is a story that’s been repeated across the country.
They believe they are descendants of the ancient Moroccan empire. Most of the members follow the laws but a smaller group of them believe they only follow the Moorish law, local and federal law doesn’t apply to them (in their mind).
Many stories have surfaced of similar incidents. Including Moorish members speaking to home owners and pulling out documents stating they are claiming various properties across the country. Most of the time it results in handcuffs for the trespassers.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr currently drives for JTG Daughtery Racing. He’s spent the last 12 years in the NASCAR Cup Series were he’s claiming two race wins.
