Bristol Motor Speedway tv numbers for the Playoff race
Over the weekend, NASCAR returned to the short track in Bristol, Tennessee. Bristol Motor Speedway hosted a playoff elimination race for the NASCAR Cup Series.

Thursday’s ARCA Menards Series race at Bristol brought 217,000 viewers while the Truck race brought 469,000 later that night. Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race locked in 665,000 viewers.
Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series race brought 1.776 million viewers on average with a rating of 1.07. That makes it the most-watched motorsport event of the weekend.
Sunday’s NHRA event brought in 1.678 million viewers. Moto GP also had 335,000 viewers on Sunday.
For comparison, Sunday’s NFL football coverage brought 27.389 million viewers. College footballs Penn State at Auburn was seen by 4.054 million. 18 NFL and college football games won the weekend in sports. The WWE brought in 2.212 million viewers Friday night. Meanwhile, the Bristol Night Race was the 20th most-watched sporting event of the weekend.
