NASCAR float set for Rose Parade

Rajah Caruth and Richard Petty will ride on the NASCAR float

NASCAR is set to take part in the 2023 Rose Parade. It takes place on January 2, 2023 in Pasadena, California.

Rajah Caruth will join 7-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Richard Petty on the NASCAR float named “Always Forward”. The float is designed to celebrate NASCAR’s 75th anniversary.

The NASCAR float will feature Richard Petty’s iconic No. 43 race car, along with the No. 3 driven by Dale Earnhardt and the No. 24 driven by Jeff Gordon. The float will also feature elements from the LA Coliseum to help promote the upcoming Clash event.

“NASCAR’s 75th anniversary is all about honoring our past, celebrating our present and looking to our future,” said NASCAR Vice President of Marketing Services Patrick Rogers. “It’s only fitting that a driver like Rajah, who represents NASCAR’s now and beyond, joins our all-time winningest driver on this historic day for our sport.”

Rajah Caruth started his racing career via iRacing. He was then presented with an invitation to NASCAR Drive for Diversity program. He’s been scratching his way up the NASCAR ladder.

Caruth is set for his first full-time season in the NASCAR Truck Series. He’ll drive the No. 24 for GMS Racing.

“This is going to be a great way to start 2023,” Caruth said. “It’s nothing short of an honor to ride along with Richard Petty in the Rose Parade and help introduce our sport to new audiences in Southern California and around the world.”

NASCAR’s float was designed and constructed by Artistic Entertainment Services. It’s 25 feet tall and 55 feet long.
