Dale Earnhardt Jr joins the late model field in South Carolina
A full field of late model stocks have unloaded in Timmonsville, South Carolina. The 0.4-mile asphalt oval of Florence Motor Speedway is set to host the 8th annual Icebreaker.

Dale Earnhardt Jr was here just a few months ago for the South Carolina 400. The JR Motorsports team has returned for another round.

Green flag, Barnes clears Hall via the inside lane into turn one.
Lap 11, Zack Miracle works to the right rear of Hall in the battle for 2nd. He’s unable to complete the pass on the outside and tucks back in on his bumper. Barnes leads by two car lengths.
Lap 35, Matt Cox dives inside of Hall for 2nd. He takes the spot away.
Lap 50, the top 10 remain nose to tail around the bottom lane.
Lap 54, a car has gone out of bounds on the backstretch. With no outside wall, the car is off in the grass and the caution is out.
Green, Barnes clears Cox off turn two.
Lap 70, Jacob Heafner puts the bumper to Dale Earnhardt Jr and takes 12th away.
Lap 75, Brendan Queen spun in qualifying and started this race at the tail of the field in 29th. He’s climbed all the way to 13th.
Lap 80, Matt Cox has pulled to within a car length of race leader Doug Barnes. They’ve both broken away from 3rd by 6 car lengths.
Lap 85, Barnes has caught the tail of the field. Cox works inside of Barnes and he uses lap traffic as a pick. Barnes lifts and tucks in behind Cox as they work heavy lap traffic.
Lap 91, Brendan Queen has cracked the top 10 as he continues his run from the back to the front.
27 to go, Barnes works back to the inside of Cox into turn one. Side by side for the lead as Connor Hall joins the battle.
25 to go, Barnes drives it deep into turn three. He takes the race lead, Cox falls to 3rd and Hall returns to 2nd.
15 to go, Barnes slices through lap traffic and opens the gap to Hall.
14 to go, Jeb Burton and Kade Brown tangle in turn three. Brandon Pierce checks up hard behind them and Dale Earnhardt Jr gets into the back of him. Pierce is around and the caution is out. Dale Earnhardt Jr picks up some nose damage but he continues to roll in 15th.
Green, Barnes and Hall run side by side into turn one. Connor Zilisch and Anthony Adams tangle behind them, caution.
Green, Barnes clears Hall off turn two.
10 to go, Brendan Queen moves to 5th, 29th to 5th.
8 to go, Kaden Honeycutt has moved to the top lane and taken 3rd away. He’s the only car running up there. He’s found speed but he could run out of time.
