Rain has been in the area all night. But, officials have the track mostly dry, the rain tires are installed and the rain lights are on. We’re set to see the first oval laps on the rain package.

Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 50 (1-50 / 200)

Green flag, Zane Smith clears Busch via the inside lane. Drivers are throwing spray as they roll down the straights.

Lap 6, Busch has a run off turn four. He dives inside of Smith into turn one, Kyle Busch to the lead.

Lap 27, the competition caution is out. All drivers will pit for sticker tires.

Green, Corey Heim gets the jump on the outside lane. He pinches Busch off turn two, Heim to the lead!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 50 (51-100 / 200)

NASCAR is running several laps under the caution as they send jet dryers to remove water from the pit lane.

Lap 68, NASCAR has pulled the trucks to the pit lane as the rain has returned. No green flag laps have been turned in stage two yet.

After a lengthy delay…

Green, Heim clears Busch into turn one. Zane Smith takes 2nd away.

Lap 81, Lawless Alan is around after he shuts the door on Daniel Dye, caution.

Hailie Deegan heads for the pit lane with heavy left rear damage.

Green, Heim leads into turn one. Busch follows him through and returns to 2nd.

Lap 96, Stewart Friesen spins with a flat left rear after contact with Chase Purdy, caution.

Corey Heim wins stage two under the yellow.

Laps: 100 (101-200 / 200)

Green flag on stage three, Heim is clear off turn two. Zane Smith runs defensively and holds off Kyle Busch, Smith holds 2nd.

Lap 110, Daniel Dye is around, caution.

Green, Heim leads into turn one as light sprinkles fall on the track. Taylor Gray leans on Carson Hocevar. Hocevar turns left into him and crashes himself in the process, caution.

Penalty: NASCAR is holding Hocevar on the pit lane for 2 laps.

The rain has returned once again. The trucks are being called to the pit lane yet again.

The race has been called. Corey Heim is the winner at Martinsville Speedway!
