Report

Green flag, Erb slides O’Neal and he’s clear off turn two.

Lap 7, Tyler Erb leads on the cushion as Hudson O’neal rolls the bottom. They fight for space in turn three. O’Neal slides him into turn one.

Erb slides him back in turn three. O’Neal rolls the bottom and clears him once more.

Erb pulls back alongside. They run side by side for the race lead. O’Neal finally clears him and he moves to the top, taking the lane away.

Lap 15, Tyler Erb bounces off the outside wall. Garrett Alberson takes 2nd away.

Lap 19, Alberson jumps the cushion in turn three. Jonathan Davenport to 2nd.

Lap 21, caution.

Green, O’Neal leads as Davenport and Alberson run side by side for 2nd. Davenport wins that battle via the inside lane.

Lap 26, Brandon Sheppard knocks the cushion and he pulls to the right rear of Alberson for 3rd. Sheppard takes the spot.

Lap 28, O’Neal and Davenport are both glued to the inside lane. Sheppard is on the cushion and closing on them.

Lap 31, Sheppard finally clears Davenport, Sheppard takes 2nd away.

Lap 35, O’Neal leads by 2.3 seconds as he works heavy lap traffic. Sheppard knocks the cushion and he’s closing on the race leader.

12 to go, Hudson O’Neal moves to the cushion. He bobbles in turn three. Sheppard has closed to within 1 seconds of the leader.

7 to go, O’Neal leads by just three car lengths.

6 to go, Sheppard jumps the cushion in turn three and he loses ground.

3 to go, Sheppard jumps the cushion in turn one, he loses a full second.

1 to go, Ricky Thornton Jr spins into turn three after contact with Mike Marlar, caution.

Green with 1 to go, O’Neal launches from the cushion and he’s clear by several car lengths into turn one.
