Race Report
Green flag, they fight for space into turn one and remain side by side off turn two. Zilisch drives deep to the inside in turn three. He wiggles, misses the bottom and chases it up the track into the side of Ruggiero. William Sawalich drives under both of them to take the lead away.
Lap 15, Zlisch has a run on Sawalich. He dives inside, wiggles but they remain side by side as they race through lap traffic.
Caution as Ryan Roulette spins in the outside lane and backs it into the wall.
Green, Sawalich and Zilisch rub fenders into turn one. Sawalich wins the battle off turn two.
Lap 25, Amber Balcaen tags the bumper of Greg Van Alst into turn three. Van Alst was three wide and he has no room to save it. Van Alst spins and he collects Balcaen and Marco Andretti. All three tag the wall, caution.
Green, Sawlisch holds the lead as they run three wide for 2nd. Ruggiero takes 2nd away on the outside.
Lap 49, Zilisch runs the outside lane into turn one. He works to the right rear of Sawalich off turn two and Zilisch takes the lead away down the back.
Race break
Lap 51, the first race break caution is out.
Green, Zilisch and Sawalich run side by side for the lead. Zilisch holds him off via the outside lane.
Lap 83, Gio Ruggiero spins from 3rd in turn four! The caution is out.
Green, Zilisch and Sawalich run doors once more into turn one. Sawalich wiggles on the inside lane, Zilisch leads off turn two.
Race break #2
Lap 101, the second race break caution is out.Teams head to the pit lane for tires and adjustments as the field is frozen.
Ruggiero has a flat right front as he heads to the pit lane.
Green, Zilisch gets the jump and he’s clear of Sawalich before turn one.
29 to go, Kris Wright and Cody Dennison tangle at the entry to the corner. They both slam the outside wall and the red flag is out for cleanup.
Green, Sawalich drives into the door of Zilisch into turn one! Zilisch is thrown completely sideways but he saves it and holds the lead off turn two.
Caution for debris.
Green, Ruggiero shoves Zilisch to the lead.
18 to go, Sawalich leans on the bumper of Zilisch in turn three. He shoves him up the track. They run side by side and rub doors. Sawalich runs him wide but they remain side by side.
15 to go, Zilisch finally clears him into turn one.
8 to go, Lavar Scott spins, caution.
Green, Zilisch clears Sawalich off turn two.
