However, one of those drivers have a deal with JGR.

Christopher Bell was speaking about leadership at Joe Gibbs Racing. In doing to, he accidentally leaked the new driver for the No. 19…

“I don’t think there really is a leadership role, in that aspect,” Chrostopher Bell opened.

“And, whenever Chase comes into the car,” Bell stopped and smiled.

He then corrected himself, “Whenever, I don’t even know what to say. Whenever, we have a new driver into the No. 19 car. Whoever that is, their experience level will dictate how much input they have in the team.”

As this happened, Briscoe was at the dirt track running a sprint car. And, he had no cell signal.

“I had absolutely zero cell signal,” Chase Briscoe told to NBC of Friday when Christopher Bell broke the news.

“I lost signal at like 3 and didn’t get back until 1am. Then, when I got back last night, I was catching up on everything.”

“Pretty eye opening, silly season is wide open. I don’t think anybody saw Chase going to the No. 19. The 9’s going to be opened up.”

“I definitely gotta call Rick now. Crazy, this silly season just keeps getting wilder.”
