Race Report
Green, they run side by side into turn one. Ruggerio has momentum on the outside lane off turn two and he takes over the lead.
Lap 2, Robusto clears herself on Andres Perez into turn one. Robusto is hooked in the right rear and she finds the outside wall. The caution is out.
Green, Ruggerio is clear as they run three wide and rub doors for 2nd. Tanner Gray wins the battle for 2nd.
Lap 9, Gray has a run on Ruggerio off turn two. He looks inside into turn three, Gray leads.
Lap 12, Jason Kitzmiller has a flat left rear. No caution, he pits under green.
Lap 20, Zilisch has climbed from the tail of the field to 4th. He’s 7 seconds behind race leader Taylor Gray.
Lap 30, Kris Wright brushes the turn one wall while running the outside lane. Zilisch drives under him to take 3rd away.
Lap 46
Lap 46, Andres Perez blows a tire and tags the outside wall into turn one. The caution is out.
Green, Gray clears Day before turn one. Wright clips the left rear of Balcaen into turn three. Balcaen is sideways on the apron but she saves it, no caution!
Lap 61, Day works side by side with Gray in the battle for the lead. Rita Goulet is stalled on the apron, caution.
Green, Gray gets the jump and he clears Day into turn one.
Lap 68, Day has a run on the inside of Gray into turn three. Day skates up the track and into the left rear of Gray! Day is completely sideways but he saves it. The caution is still out. Kris Wright is handed the lead as Gray lost it while gathering his car.
Green, Gray gets the jump and he returns to the lead.
20 to go, Zilisch sidedrafts Wright into turn one. Zilisch drives it deep to the bottom and slides him to take 2nd away.
11 to go, Gray leads Zilisch by 2 seconds.
10 to go, Kris Wright is in the wall, caution.
Gray and most of the field heads to the pit lane. Balcaen stays out.
Green with 3 to go, Balcaen spins the tires and she runs into the door of Gray after a push from behind! They all keep rolling as Gray leads Jankowiak into turn one.
2 to go, Gray leads but he has tire smoke. Day works inside of Jankowiak and Zilisch makes it three wide for 2nd.
1 to go, Day and Jankowiak find the wall in turn two!
Tanner Gray wins at Kansas Speedway! He has a flat tire after crossing the finish line!
