Green flag, Thornton Jr leads as Madden takes 2nd away off turn two.
Lap 3, Madden works inside of Thornton Jr. Thornton tags his left rear but Madden holds the lead. Thornton Jr runs wide and falls to 3rd.
Lap 8, Tyler Bruening slows, caution.
Green, Madden leads Pierce and Thornton Jr off turn two.
Sheppard is fading.
Lap 19, Austin Smith jumps the cushion and slows. The caution is out.
Pierce runs 2nd as Sheppard runs 12th. Pierce trails by 2 points in the championship battle as they run.
Green, Madden leads as Thornton Jr clears Pierce for 2nd.
Lap 22, Pierce slows with a flat tire! The caution is out.
