A big crash in stage two took out many of the favorites. In total, 23 cars were involved which included Denny Hamlin who was seed 1 for the In-Season Challenge.

The crash also shook up the In-Season Challenge bracket. For 5 races, two drivers are matched against each other with only the highest finisher of the two advancing into the next round. After 5 races, the winner will collect $1M.

Chase Elliott also drove to victory lane. With his first win of the season, he’s now locked into the playoffs. That shook up the NASCAR Playoff grid.
