Stage 1 – Report

Green flag, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch run side by side into turn one. Hamlin runs wide off turn two and brushes the wall. Hamlin falls to 5th as Kyle Busch leads.

Lap 7, Austin Cindric spins off turn three, caution.

Green, Kyle Busch gets loose and runs wide off turn two. Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin run three wide for the lead into turn two! Larson wins the battle and takes the lead on the outside.

3 to go in stage one, many cars head for the pit lane. Second later, Aric Almirola spins off turn three, caution.

Penalty: Aric Almirola has been penalized for entering the pit lane backwards.

Kyle Larson wins stage one under caution at Pocono Raceway!

Larson leads the leaders to the pit lane. Larson restarts 11th as 10 cars stay out. Harrison Burton and Joey Logano take over the front row.

Green flag on stage two, Christopher Bell works inside of Harrison Burton, side by side for the lead. Bell to the lead.

Lap 36, Josh Bilicki is in the wall, caution.

Green, Bell leads as they fan out four wide behind him.

Lap 41

Lap 41, Denny Hamlin spins, caution.

Green, Bell leads as they run three wide for 2nd. Bubba Wallace takes 2nd away but Corey LaJoie spins toward the back of the field, caution.

Green, Kyle Busch dives inside of Christopher Bell into turn one. Kyle Busch to the lead.

Lap 65, Kyle Busch pits from the race lead.

Lap 83, Ty Dillon spins and the caution is out. The pit cycle isn’t complete as Kyle Busch runs 5th. Erik Jones is the leader with three other cars they have yet to pit.

Most of the field hits the pit lane. Kyle Busch wins the race to the pit exit, he’ll restart 3rd. Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney lead them to the restart.

Green, Wallace and Blaney run even into turn one. Blaney bobbles on the inside and Wallace leads out of turn one. Kyle Busch climbs to the bumper of Wallace and he clears him into turn three, Kyle Busch returns to the lead.

Green flag on stage three, Kyle Busch and Ross Chastain run even into turn one. Chastain bobbles on the inside lane and Ky. Busch leads out of turn one.

53 to go, Ryan Blaney has a flat left rear. No caution as he pits under green.

50 to go, Ross Chastain is on the bumper of Kyle Busch in the battle for the lead.

37 to go, Kyle Busch pits under green. A lap later, Chastain heads for the pit lane. Chastain cycles out ahead of Kyle Busch! Busch was held up by lap traffic on his out lap.

33 to go

33 to go, Chastain cycles to the lead as most of the field has hit the pit lane. He leads Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin by 0.6 seconds.

31 to go, Hamlin to 2nd. The No. 11 team thinks they’re two laps short on fuel.

23 to go, Ryan Blaney spins off turn three. He slams the inside wall, caution.

Green, Chastain and Hamlin run even into turn one. Hamlin runs him wide and stuffs him into the outside wall off the corner! Chastain bounces off the wall and collects Kevin Harvick. The caution is out.
