Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 80 (1-80 / 267)

Green flag, Logano is clear into turn one with Bowman on his bumper.

Lap 3, Bowman has a run into turn three. Logano blocks the inside lane, Bowman drives right by on the outside lane. Logano loses momentum and Reddick takes over 2nd.

Lap 26, the competition caution is out.

Bowman leads the field to the pit entry. Reddick wins the race to the pit exit.

Pit Penalty: Hamlin will drop to the rear after equipment interference.

Green, Logano shoves Reddick clear into turn one. Bowman fights back on the bottom and pulls even with Reddick off turn two as they run four wide for 3rd.

Chastain and Wallace rub doors for 3rd, Chastain forces him wide and nearly into the wall. Harvick gets loose behind them and slams the outside wall! The caution is out.

Green, Reddick leads Ryan Blaney off turn two.

Lap 42

Lap 42, Martin Truex Jr is taken four wide. He also brushes the wall in the process.

Lap 66, Reddick loses a right rear tire and he tags the wall! The caution is out and Reddick has major damage. He’s done for the day.

Blaney leads the field to the pit lane. Austin Dillon wins the race to the pit exit with just two tires. Bowman makes contact with Briscoe on the pit lane.

Green, Dillon and Bell run side by side into turn one. Dillon runs wide off turn two and Bell takes over the lead.

Christopher Bell wins stage one at Kansas Speedway!

Laps: 85 (81-165 / 267)

Bell leads the field to the pit lane. McDowell wins the race to the pit exit with a two tire call. Almirola stays out.

Green flag on stage two, McDowell and Almirola run side by side into turn one. McDowell clears him off turn two. Almirola shuts the door on Bell and Bell tags him in the bumper. Elliott picks up light nose damage.

Three wide for 2nd in turn three. Truex Jr wins that battle through the middle.

Lap 88, Truex Jr drives right by McDowell to take over the lead.

Lap 90, Ty Gibbs is in the wall with a flat tire and the caution is out.

Green, Truex Jr and Ricky Stenhouse Jr run side by side into turn one. Truex Jr holds him off via the outside lane.

Lap 110

Lap 110, Ricky Stenhouse Jr is in the wall with a flat tire! The caution is out.

Truex heads for the pit lane.

Pit Penalty: Busch is handed an equiptment interferance penalty.

Green, Byron leads into turn one. Harrison Burton, Corey LaJoie and Almirola and Erik Jones crash behind them, caution.

Green, Byron and Bowman run side by side into turn one as they run three wide behind them. Bowman leads off turn two.

Lap 138, Kyle Busch spins off turn four and slides through the grass! The caution is out.

Green, Bowman leads Byron off turn two.

Alex Bowman wins stage two at Kansas Speedway!

Green flag on stage three, Bowman and Wallace run side by side into turn one, Bowman wins the battle off turn two.

Lap 181, Larson and Byron run side by side for 2nd. As they slow each other down, Bubba Wallace has a run. Wallace slides them both and takes over 2nd.

Lap 197, Wallace has closed to the bumper of Bowman in the battle for the lead. Bowman changes his line and puts Wallace in dirty air.

Lap 200, Bowman gets loose off turn four. He lifts and Wallace works to his inside. Bubba Wallace drives right by and takes the lead!

55 to go, Wallace leads Christopher Bell by 2.4 seconds.

52 to go, Wallace pits from the race lead. Bell also hits the pit lane.

42 to go, Wallace cycles back to the lead. Bell trails by 3.4 seconds with Hamlin closing.

10 to go, Wallace leads Hamlin by 1.9 seconds.

5 to go, Wallace struggles with lap traffic as he’s now in dirty air. Hamlin trails by 1.3 seconds.
