Tonight, the Wild West Shootout comes to a close in Vado, New Mexico. Dirt late model drivers are set to battle for $25,000 to win on the 3/8-mile dirt track of Vado Speedway Park.

Green flag, Davenport slides Pierce into turn one. Pierce crosses under him but Davenport hangs onto his outside.

Lap 2, Pierce slides Davenport in turn one. Davenport crosses under him to retake the spot.

Lap 3, Pierce slides him once more.

Lap 4, Davenport slides Pierce into turn one. Pierce slides him back in turn three.

Lap 5, Davenport back to the lead. Larson takes 2nd away from Pierce.

Lap 15

Lap 15, Davenport has caught the tail of the field. Pierce slides Larson for 2nd.

Lap 16, Pierce heads for the bottom in turn one, he clears Davenport. Mike Marlar is closing on all three of them.

Lap 20, Davenport runs wide in turn one. Marlar takes 2nd away. Marlar doors lap traffic, Davenport back to 2nd.

Lap 25, Davenport jumps the cushion in turn one. He brushes the wall and loses a ton of ground as Larson takes 3rd away.

Lap 28, Johnny Scott slows, caution.

Green, Pierce leads as Larson and Marlar run side by side for 2nd. Marlar wins the battle for 2nd in turn three.

Lap 33, Marlar rolls the middle and he clears Pierce for the lead. Larson follows him through and takes 2nd away.

14 to go, Larson dives to the inside of Marlar in turn one. Marlar cuts down and takes the lane away.

11 to go, Larson heads back to the cushion. Pierce slides him, Larson crosses him. Larson slides him back. They fight for space into turn one, light contact and Pierce takes 2nd.

8 to go, Pierce is all over Marlar for the win. Pierce knocks the cushion and has momentum off turn four. Pierce gets to his right rear and clear him.

5 to go, Pierce works heavy lap traffic. Larson slides him! Pierce crosses under him and Larson slides him again. Pierce crosses under once more and returns to the lead.

1 to go, Pierce leads Larson by three car lengths.
