The field is split into three groups for practice and each group ran three practice sessions each. The times sheet below shows the combined lap times.
Alex Bowman brushed the wall during his opening practice session. The No. 48 car picked up very light right rear damage.
Ty Gibbs caught fire in his second session. He was forced to stop on the track and climb out as smoke billowed inside the cockpit.

Chase Briscoe put the bumper to AJ Allmendinger during practice. In the very next corner, Allmendinger lined up his bumper and sent him into the corner. Briscoe made light contact with the right front wheel.

Martin Truex Jr won practice. He turned a lap time of 13.361 seconds with an average speed of 67.26mph.
